Used in conjunction with the CF system The Coroflor Acoustic Flooring System will provide a simple and cost effective method of upgrading both the fire resistance and acoustic performances of a timber floor.
This incorporates the CF Fire Protection System between the joists and provides a floating floor construction above them with improved acoustics.
Fire Characteristics
BS476 Part 21 which satisfied the requirements of Part B of the Building Regulations. The Systems Integrity and insulation were maintained throughout the test duration of 108 minutes. Test Report confirmation supplied on request. FIRTO – TE 5487.
Applications
Used in conjunction with the CF system will provide an acoustic barrier between floors in either new or existing buildings and particularly where the preservation of the ceiling is of importance.
Compliance
The system has been tested and complies with full Document E approval for airborne and impact sound transmission. Full Test Report details are available. AIRO REG/5188/A. It is sometimes necessary to vary the basic specification, depending on the construction of the building and components therein. We would advise you to contact our technical department to discuss your particular situation.
Acoustic Insulation
Install the PFC Corofil CW and CF Fire Protection Systems to provide fire protection for upgrading timber floors and stud wall constructions. Installation to be fully in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Certification upon final inspections are available.

- Coroflor high density polyethylene joist strip
- Coroflor high density polyethylene perimeter bars
- Coroflor low frequency sound quilt
- Coroflor V3 tongue and groove 22mm thick boards
